CAMTB Pathways to Leadership Project (PTLP)

California Mountain Biking Coalition (CAMTB) is working on statewide awareness and recruiting campaign to significantly increase diversity on the board of directors of California trail advocacy organizations. The Pathways to Leadership Project (PTLP )aims to ensure that the needs and perspectives of underrepresented riders in mountain biking are recognized and prioritized in outdoor advocacy.
Support of this program will:
- Expand the representation of Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ riders, and riders with disabilities, on the Boards of 30 trail advocacy organizations;
- Ensure that the needs and perspectives of Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ riders, and riders with disabilities, are recognized and prioritized in outdoor advocacy; and
- Expand awareness of leadership opportunities in Outdoor Advocacy.
Dig In funds will be used for:
- Paid Advertising through trade and social media outlets to expand the reach and awareness of the public-facing campaign;
- Graphic Design support to create the assets and partner toolkit
- Promotional support to develop and execute the awareness and recruiting campaign; and
- Programmatic support to manage stakeholders, and to coordinate and oversee the execution of the diversity survey, public-facing, and internal partner campaigns, impact report, and. (June-Dec 2022) promotional, and design support.
