Palisades MTB (PMTB) will be adding 5 miles of new, professionally-built, bike-optimized trail in Sterling Forest State Park, NY. This project is the next step in the journey to having one of the best riding experiences in the area right at Sterling Forest.

With generous contributions from the riding community, Palisades MTB hired Tahawus Trails, a professional trail contractor this fall to help speed construction of a new flow and feature-rich, additional 5+ mile loop in Sterling Forest State Park. PMTB volunteers and professionals built over a mile of the trail since September 1st. Tahawus will resume machine-assisted construction on the difficult and rocky Red Back–McKeag’s trail connector in the spring. Hiring a trail contractor is expensive, and we need your contributions to keep the build on schedule. Every dollar goes to make fun stuff that you can ride, and we’re a 501c3 charitable organization for your tax purposes.
