Dear BTD Club Members I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the trails! As the summer really starts to heat up, we are excited to announce our upcoming Sanford Trail Festival, scheduled for October. This event promises to be a celebration of our love for mountain biking, our beautiful trails, and the strong community that binds us together. Our Trail Festival is not just an event; it’s a chance for us to come together, share our passion, and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the trails we cherish. We have planned an array of activities including group rides, trail maintenance workshops, skills clinics, fun races, and family-friendly events to ensure that there’s something for everyone. However, to make this event a grand success, we need your support. Here are a few ways you can contribute: 1. Volunteer Your Time: We need volunteers to help with setting up the event, guiding rides, assisting with workshops, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Any amount of time you can offer would be greatly appreciated. 2. Join Committees and Leadership Positions: We are also looking for members to volunteer for various committees and leadership roles. Your expertise and dedication are vital for planning and executing a successful festival. Whether you have a knack for organizing, marketing, logistics, or community engagement, we welcome your involvement. 3. Spread the Word: Help us get the word out about the festival. Share our event details on social media, invite friends and family, and encourage fellow riders to join us. 4. Sponsorship and Donations: If you or your business can sponsor a part of the event or donate items for prizes and raffles, it would greatly enhance the experience for all participants and help cover event costs. 5. Participate: Of course, your participation is what makes the festival truly special. Come ride with us, join the activities, and celebrate our community. We believe that with your support, this festival will not only be a fun-filled event but also a testament to the strength and spirit of our mountain biking community. All proceeds from the event will go towards trail maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring that our trails remain in excellent condition for all to enjoy. To sign up as a volunteer, join a committee, take on a leadership role, or sponsor the event, please contact us at [email protected] or visit our website www.backtodirtconservancy.com. We’ll also be holding an initial planning meeting on Wednesday June 26th at Back to Dirt Bike Shop at 5:30 pm if you’d like to be involved in the organization process. Thank you in advance for your support. Let’s come together to make this Trail Festival an unforgettable event for everyone involved! Happy trails, The BTD Board |
