Trail Construction

  • Lead designer and construction supervisor for Bruce County, ON Family Freeride Park

  • Instructor of over 20, 3-day field-based trail design, construction (hand, mechanized and wet area), and management courses land management agencies and mountain bike clubs across Canada
  • Co-instructor of 5 trailbuilding seminars for Parks Canada

Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew - 2002-2004

Instructor and designer for weekly trailbuilding seminars in 40 states and 6 Canadian provinces.

Notable accomplishments include:

  • Developed all trail illustrations for "Trail Solutions: IMBA's Guide To Building Sweet Singletrack"
  • Invited Speaker at National Trail Symposium, Professional Trailbuilders Assocation, and World Mountain Bike Conferences
  • Lead designer for all IMBA guidelines on technical trail features

Hardwood Hills Cross Country Ski & Mountain Bike Centre - 2000-2002

  • Course design and organization for Ontario Cup, 24-Hour Race, Ontario Provincial Cycling Championships, and Canada Cup Downhill Mountain Bike Series races
  • Instructor of beginner to advanced level men's and women's mountain bike skills clinics, Parents and Kids Dirt Camp, and Bicycle Maintenance seminars

Notable Accomplishments

  • 1997 Honors Graduate in Industrial Design from the Humber School of Manufacturing and Technology; Winner of several design awards, school representative at design trade shows
  • Product designer in injection and blow-molding plastics for Cooper Baseball and Winn Well Hockey clients
